Positive: The location and the ambiance outside. Decent breakfast items provided for quick up and out to hike. Coffee, hard boiled eggs, cereals, toasts yogurt
Negative: Dated, baseboard heating, Bathroom very tight. Disposed of one giant bug in the bathroom floor.

Negative: First of all, we are frequent customers of your establishment. We have always enjoyed our stays with you.However, on our last stay, I forgot some expensive shirts in the closet of room #105. We stayed 3 nights, Aug 14th through the 16th. I called about retrieving the items. I was told nothing was found in the room. I know I took them to the room. The shirts could not have been missed by the cleaning staff. After calling about the forgotten items, we were told the lost and found would be checked & staff would be contacted, and we would receive a call back. We did not receive a courtesy call about clothing being left behind. This is theft and dishonesty in its truest form!!! And needless to say, lack of followup. I am a customer service professional. This action, or lack thereof, is unacceptable.

Positive: Absolutely wonderful hotel, didn’t want to leave. Such a charming property in an excellent location. Rooms are fairly big, could do with an upgrade but equally charming. Kept clean with everything you need. The location is what is fabulous about this hotel; right on the river with plenty of easy chairs to sit out round the fires and have smores on an evening whilst also being 5mins walking distance into town. My 3 and 5 year old didn’t want to leave. All the staff are really friendly and helpful.
Negative: Breakfast was v basic however we expected this and were fine with this. Big horn is right next door for a bigger breakfast if needed. As mentioned the rooms are a little outdated however this adds to the lodge type feel of the hotel

Positive: The location was convenient since we could walk to the shops and restaurants. The stream and seating area next to it was nice.
Negative: The room was very dark and smelled musty. We immediately opened what windows we could and left the door open for fresh air. The lighting by the bathroom sink wasn’t very bright at all.
